This is an annual event where we provide logistical off-road support in Thetford Forest. As you will see, this involves drinking tea and eating burgers. But as well as sitting around, we do assist in setting up the course before and taking it down after. Directly prior we take out marshals and open gates, with final sweeps collecting and locking up. Whilst the event is running we search and locate lost runners, transport medical teams to any location as may be required, collect exhausted runners and riders, and provide mobile marshalling. And just to make a point, you will see we also have female members, as well as canine ones. Along the way we have a great deal of fun, and provide a valuable support to EACH on their main annual fund raising event.
